Heather Lodge - Connemara

Our home is both comforting and welcoming.

There is a lounge reserved for guests where you can spend some quite time relaxing and perhaps meeting other guests, this has a lake view so is very pleasant both morning and evening .

Our games room has a full size pool table available for guests use and several board games for those evenings you just want to relaxe at home.

We have a piano for anyone who likes to play and usually guests are delighted to hear music...

There is a pay phone available for your use.

The bedrooms are spacious, beautifully decorated each with its own individuality but  most of all warm and comfortable with good beds.  All rooms are en-suite and have powered showers, there are hairdryers in each room and tea and coffee making facilities. There is an information book in each room for guest use.

 

There are many amenities in the surrounding area
such as.. horse riding only 4.5kms away,

fishing, both river and sea sailing

golf, 15kms away in Ballyconneely, a lovely links course which loves to welcome visitors.

Walking, there are many walks both coastal and hill walking in the area.
pitch & putt, The entrance to the National Park  is 10kms from here and is well worth a visit.  The Sky Road Drive is just a couple of kms. away and not to be missed on your visit.  Kylemore Abbey and Gardens is very beautiful and only a short drive away. Our lovely coastline and white sandy beaches with clear and unpolluted waters and rock pools are the stuff childhood memories are made of.
